Workshop Media-Arts
Let's speak audio-visual!
The media-art workshop is the chance to explore a diversity of media
as tools – to communicate, to give ideas a look or sound, to create
art.
In the first days you get in touch with stop-motion-animation,
lightart, radiodrama, (landart) installation and the idea of
sight-specific art. The two last workshop days give room, space and
support to work independently in small groups and to deepen an aspect,
media and/or idea that you are most interested in.
We will use our bodies and voices, small instruments and common items
as well as technical equipment like photo-cameras, computers and sound
recorders. But technology will always be in the background – much more
important will be the development of what you want to say and to find
an expression that emphasizes your statement. Individual, in
small-groups and all together.
The workshop is open to everyone who is interested – no prior
experience is needed.
