Butterflies & Hurricanes is a Danish film- and TV production company which was founded in September 2007. It is one organization of the Medientraktor network which wants to help develop new talents in both script writing and directing and to make sure new talents have the guts to think ”out-of-the-box”. The company insists on doing things differently. It wants to tell stories that haven't been told before and to tell them in an unusual way. Their concept is to mix provoking stories with the charm of independent films and mainstream oriented productions.

Up to date Butterflies & Hurricanes has already co-produced the 45 minute-long documentary ”Between Seats”(a co-production in association with Turbine Film), the short subject ”Playground”, and the announcement teaser for Butterflies & Hurricanes' own upcoming TV-pilot ”This mans mind”.
