The story is based on real events which took place on 26th May in Berlin at the time of the opening of the new main railway station. A drunk 16-year-old boy was suspected of stabbing and hitting dozens of people in just ten minutes as he mingled with thousands of people who were heading home after a light show which celebrated the opening of the new central railway station in Berlin. One of those stabbed ones was HIV-positive. The disease could be transmitted in contaminated blood. Based on this story Maja developed a script of the movie ”The First Time”.
