Participants (aged 18 - 28) of the script workshop in May 2007 from the West and the East of Europe had met on a boat on the river Elbe. General topic of the workshop was In-Dependence and its ambiguous senses. Tutors helped the youths to find themes and to develop their own stories.
Additionally the participants got into contact with culture in Dresden, especially with the work of one of its most famous writers, Erich Kästner. At the end of the workshop the participants had to choose one of their script ideas to make a film out of it. They voted for “The First Time” which was created by Maja a student. In September 2007 the team met again to film the script. Two versions arose which you can watch on our homepage.
