Rock4Peace 2007

In 2007, three bands from Leipzig, Chemnitz and Dresden headed off to meet other artists from three middle and eastern European countries. This time, music wasn't their first priority. The goal of Rock4Peace was meeting people from other countries, getting an insight into their work routine and problems and developing commitment to civil society and democratic consciousness.

The whole trip, including the mutual concert of the international bands, has been documented by the bands itselves. These impressions have later been presented at an event in each of the saxonian cities including an exhibition of photographs, a film and music.
The project has been supported by various sociocultural associations from Germany and Macedonia.
