About the Project

During the 10 days of the project, the participants will shoot and edit short films from given story scripts. The film stories will be selected during the International Film Stories Competition which is going to take place in spring 2012 and is open for everyone to participate. The workshops are going to be run by professional film makers and specialists in this field.

Facts

The project is going to include 5 countries from EU and Non-EU areas.
Each country will be represented by 5 participants.
The selection of participants is going to be done by the partner organizations of the participant countries.
The venue of the project is in the city Görlitz, on the border of Poland and Germany. The place symbolizes that one can cross the boundaries, cultures, languages. Many famous movie makers and producers have used the place for shooting their films, including the well known Kate Winslet.

Financial Terms

registration fee (covers board and lodging, equipment for film making), as well as 30% of the travelling costs

To get to know talented young people from different countries
To learn more about each other's culture, language, skills and ideas
To give the young participants the chance to discover themselves
To gain new knowledge and skills on the international level about film making
To open new ways to participants for further trainings and courses on film making throughout Europe
To find out about the work experiences of all the other participants and the specialists there
To learn more technics and ways of how to shoot and edit films
